Begin your day by visiting Bamboo Delight, a local cooking school that offers two classes each day for food enthusiasts from around the world. The school donates 15% of its proceeds to Hand to Hand Charity’s social initiatives.

The morning class starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 1:00 PM, with a pickup from your hotel at 8:00 AM. During the class, you will accompany the chef to Nyaung Shwe’s market to purchase fresh ingredients for the dishes you will be cooking. Here, you will get a glimpse into the local life.

Upon returning to the cooking school, you will have the opportunity to prepare and cook authentic Shan and Myanmar cuisines in the open-plan cooking area, using locally sourced ingredients and traditional charcoal cookers. The classes offer a range of classic recipes that cater to individual tastes and preferences, so feel free to request any dietary restrictions or preferences you may have, such as vegetarian or spicy/non-spicy dishes. After cooking, you will have the chance to enjoy your own culinary creations.

Finally, in the afternoon, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
