The tour starts with a meet and greet at the hotel in Mandalay before heading south to avoid the city’s busy roads. You will then ride bikes down the historic Royal Road toward the historic city of Ava, passing through small villages and pausing to see some local cottage industries in action.

After a brief ferry trip across the Dokhtawaddy (or “Small River”), the route continues through Ava’s congested streets. The path then travels through a few quieter villages as it heads towards Amarapura, another ancient capital well-known for its silk industry.

You will see a breathtaking sunset at Amarapura’s fabled U Bein bridge as the day comes to a conclusion. The fading light of the day can be captured by taking a leisurely stroll along the shoreline and the bridge.

You will cycle on tracks and tiny roads during the tour; some of them may have uneven terrain, but the bikes are built to manage them. The guide will also show strategies for easing the journey.

After an interesting day of discovering the historical and cultural treasures of the areas around Mandalay, you will finally transfer to your hotel.
