Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market)
Also known as Scott Market, this popular market was inaugurated in 1926 and named after Mr. C. Scott, the Municipal Commissioner at the time. Now called Bogyoke Aung San Market in honor of the national leader, General Aung San who was assassinated in 1947, there are around 2,000 stalls trading in handicrafts, food, clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, lacquerware, and more.

Hla Day
Hla Day is an ethical non-profit business that designs and sells crafts with a contemporary twist produced by disadvantaged groups, small producers, and artisans in Myanmar. Hla Day works with over 60 small craft business and disadvantaged groups across Myanmar. Now around 700 people are earning an income through their craft.
