Before checking in, take some time to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Yangon, the former capital city of Myanmar.     To kick off your adventure in Myanmar, you’ll visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda.   • Day 02: Yangon – Heho – Inle Lake (B)

    Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the domestic airport for a scheduled flight to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake (approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes). Upon arrival at Heho airport, head directly to your hotel for an overnight stay in the enchanting surroundings of Inle Lake.

  • Day 03: Inle Lake – Indein – Inle Lake (B)

    Begin your day with breakfast and prepare for an exciting exploration of Inle Lake. Start by visiting the local market, which changes its location every five days, rotating through the lake’s various villages. This bustling market provides a glimpse into the vibrant life of the ethnic Pa-O, Danu, and Intha people, who gather here to buy and sell a diverse range of goods.

    Embark on a captivating long-tailed boat ride across the picturesque lake, heading towards Indein, situated at the western end of Inle. Enjoy one of the most scenic journeys on the lake as you disembark at the jetty and take a short walk through the charming Indein village. Here, you’ll discover the ancient pagoda ruins of Nyaung Oak, dating back to the 14th to 18th centuries.     Embark on a visit to the splendid Shwezigon Pagoda, an architectural masterpiece constructed by King Anawrahta in the 11th century.     After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your journey from Bagan to Mindat, a distance of approximately 184.3 km. The drive will take around 4 hours, and you can expect some rocky and bumpy terrain along the way. As you travel, you will have the opportunity to witness the local countryside, including cattle running through crops and meadows. Feel free to take photos and interact with the friendly villagers you encounter.

    Upon arrival in Mindat, situated at an elevation of 4,860 feet above sea level, you will check-in to your accommodation and spend the night in Mindat.

  • Day 10: Mindat – Kanpetlet (B)

    In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before visiting the market of a Chin village near Mindat. This visit will provide you with a unique opportunity to observe the Chin women, known for their traditional facial tattoos, and gain insight into their way of life and agricultural practices, such as tea or coffee plantations.

    The Chin women still wear traditional costumes, and some of the older women have intricately tattooed faces and smoke tobacco pipes. After exploring the village and the market, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

    Next, continue your sightseeing in the city center of Mindat and visit the local market. Later, drive to Kanpetlet, which will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival, check-in to your accommodation in Kanpetlet and spend the night there.

  • Day 11: Kanpetlet – Mt. Victoria – Kanpetlet (B/L)

    After a satisfying breakfast, get ready for an exhilarating adventure from Kanpetlet to the majestic Mt. Victoria. The drive to the base camp will whisk you away for about an hour, setting the stage for an unforgettable hiking experience. Lace up your boots and embark on a thrilling 2-hour and 30-minute trek to conquer the summit of Mt. Victoria, proudly standing at an impressive height of 3,109 meters.

  • Day 12: Kanpetlet – Bagan – Yangon (B)

    After breakfast, begin your return journey from Kanpetlet to Bagan. The drive will take approximately 5 hours. Along the way, you will pass local villages, offering insights into the lives of the residents and the local farming practices.

    Before transferring to the airport, you will have the opportunity to visit a local family business that produces toddy or palm sugar. Witness the process of collecting palm sap from small pots hung high in the trees, followed by its heating in large pots to produce palm sugar with a unique smoky and sweet flavor.

    Afterward, transfer to Nyaung-U Airport in Bagan for a domestic flight back to Yangon, which takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Upon arrival in Yangon, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight accommodation.
