Day 01: Kawthaung – Join The Burma Boating Cruise (Dinner)
Welcome to Kawthaung, the gateway to the stunning Mergui Archipelago – a pristine tropical paradise located in the south of Myanmar. In the afternoon, you’ll board a luxurious yacht and set sail towards Barwell Island, a breathtaking destination characterized by its white sandy beaches, lush jungle, and crystal-clear waters teeming with colorful reef fish. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel among vibrant corals, collect seashells, and soak up the sun while lounging on the pristine shoreline. As the sun sets over the water, sip on refreshing cocktails and indulge in a delectable welcome dinner, all while taking in the magnificent burnt-orange sphere as it disappears below the horizon. Day 02: On Board (Burma Boating Cruise) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
The first breakfast in one of the planet’s most unspoiled oceans is a truly memorable experience. After breakfast, we’ll set sail towards Tang La Bo Island, which is renowned for its exceptional snorkeling opportunities. Dive beneath the surface and marvel at the underwater world before relaxing on the beach with the sky above and white sand beneath your feet. Following lunch aboard the yacht, we’ll make our way towards Pony Island – an exceptional location for bird watching, where you can spot toucans, hornbills, and sea eagles. For discerning travelers, exploring the island’s wildlife is a unique and rewarding experience. Take ample time to swim before witnessing the beauty of the evening unfold. As night falls, we’ll anchor and spend the night in the tranquil bays of Nyaung Wee Island, ensuring a restful overnight stay aboard the yacht.

Day 03: On Board (Burma Boating Cruise) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After a satisfying breakfast, we’ll set sail towards the Lampi Island Marine National Park, where you can allow the tide to carry you on a peaceful journey to visit the mangroves. Take this opportunity to learn more about the significance of these unique ecosystems and observe the pristine waters, which reflect the trees’ shadows beautifully, exuding an enchanting aura. We’ll then embark on an excursion to visit a semi-nomadic tribe that has made its home in the archipelago for centuries. The Moken tribe is known for their impressive freediving skills, intimate understanding of the ocean, oral history, and language that focuses on the present moment and has few words for past and future.
We’ll spend the night anchored near the tranquil bay of Pulo Bunai Island, where you may have the opportunity to witness a mesmerizing natural phenomenon known as “Sea of Stars.” This captivating display features neon-glowing waves caused by bioluminescent plankton, creating a truly unforgettable light show. Day 04: On Board (Burma Boating Cruise) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Start your day with a delightful onboard breakfast, taking deep breaths of the refreshing ocean air and listening to the calming sound of the waves. Afterward, we’ll begin our exploration of Kyun Pila Island, which boasts one of the most stunning and extensive beaches in the entire archipelago. On the island’s east coast, you’ll find a small fishing community that has flourished due to the area’s ample supply of freshwater. Take a short hike up the mountain to the southeast, where you’ll discover a pagoda offering a magnificent view of the bay.
We’ll have lunch on board before continuing our journey. After visiting the magnificent long beach, the crew will set up a bonfire for us to enjoy while sipping on sparkling sunset cocktails on the beach, making for a truly magical evening. Spend the night on board the yacht.

Day 05: On Board (Burma Boating Cruise) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After enjoying breakfast on board, embark on a sail to the 115 islands where you can explore the natural habitats of indigenous snakes and water-dwelling lizards. Visit the bird’s nest cave and continue your adventure in one of the finest islands, where you can hike and trek through the rainforest. The stunning, untouched white-sand beaches offer an incredible snorkeling experience to spot schools of colorful fish and beautiful corals. Stop briefly at either Taung La Bo or Kyun Pya Gui, depending on wind and tide. In the evening, savor a special farewell dinner on the shore of Hasting Bay, surrounded by the ocean’s breathtaking scenery, and under the stars at the water’s edge. It will be an unforgettable experience to cherish forever. Spend your final night on board.

Day 06: Disembark (Burma Boating Cruise) – Kawthaung (Breakfast)
On the final day of your luxurious six-day cruise, savor a casual brunch on board as you take one last swim and bid farewell to the jungle-covered islands and pristine beaches. The yacht sets sail towards Kawthaung, where you will disembark and say goodbye to the crew.
From Kawthaung, you have the option to drive to the domestic airport and catch a flight to Yangon (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or the international airport for your onward journey.
