Day 01: Yangon to Putao
On the first day, take an early morning transfer to Yangon Airport for a flight to Putao, which takes around four hours. Putao is a small and picturesque town situated in the Himalayan foothills and is home to the Kachins and Lisus. The town is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, and the weather is cold throughout the year. It is also the nearest town to the base camp for Climbing Mt. Hkakabo Razi, which is the highest mountain in Myanmar and in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival in Putao, transfer to the hotel for check-in, and the rest of the day will be free for your own leisure activities.

Day 02: Putao – Kanugmulon – Machanbaw – Mulashidi – Putao (B)
After breakfast, visit the Putao market to observe the local ethnic tribes and their lifestyle. After that, the trip will proceed to Htawadum, which takes approximately one hour, to visit the famous Kanugmulon Pagoda. The pagoda is one of the 84,000 pagodas built by Thiri Dhamma Thawka, the great king. Following this, the journey continues on a local fishermen boat downstream to Machanbaw, which is a charming administrative town set up in colonial style. Visit around the town and walk across the bridge. Next, drive to Mulashidi (about an hour), which means “the village stands in the thatch field along Mula River” in Lisu language. Enjoy the beautiful scenery with the mountains in the distance as you cross the Mula River. The day will end with a return to Putao for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Walking tour to Community Villages (B)
After breakfast, take a walking tour to Lonsut village, which involves crossing the paddy fields, crossing over Namhtun creek, and walking up to a small plateau for a nice overview of Putao valley. Continuing through a beautiful bamboo grove, you will reach Hopaing Shan village. where you can visit the Buddhist Monastery and meet with Hkamti Shan people. On the way back, drop by some of the Lisu villages. In the evening, return to Putao for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Putao Departure (B)
The last day will begin with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a transfer to Putao Airport for a flight back to Yangon, which takes around four hours.
