Day 01: Yangon – Myeik Arrival
Get greeted by an English-speaking tour guide in the morning and taken to the domestic airport to catch a scheduled flight to Myeik (approximately 2 hours). One of Myanmar’s largest fishing communities is Myeik. Read about its immensely fascinating past and how it rose to fame for its products, which included tasty bird nests, rubber, and pearls. After landing at Myeik Airport, take a transport to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, either lounging about or exploring the city later in the day. Spend the night at Myeik.
Day 02: Myeik – KyalLaik – Dana Theik Di (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
Following breakfast, travel from the Myeik jetty and stop briefly in one of the nearby villages to view the fisherman. Reach a local beach with snorkeling opportunities after a 3- to 3-and-a-half-hour trip in crystal – clear seas. Eventually you will reach Chester Island, also known as Kyal Laik Island. On its pristine white beach, it is ideal for fantastic snorkeling, swimming, and leisurely long walks. Take advantage of the opportunities to see the rich underwater ecosystem.
Go from Chester Island to Dana Theik Di Island, where you can make lifelong experiences while snorkeling around vibrant coral reefs and on a white sand beach. Dive beneath the water’s surface and unwind on the beach with the sky above and white sand at your feet. Spend the night on the island in tents to take in the stunning landscape of a tropical night, or spend the night aboard a ship (depends on choice).
Day 03: Dana Theik Di – Bailey – Smart – Thayaw Thahan Kyi (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
While eating breakfast on the boat, take pleasure in the cool sea breeze. The day begins with a cruise to Bailey Island, a fishing island with wonderful snorkeling and cool mountain vistas. On the boat, savor a feast of fresh seafood. Visit Smart Island next, which has two unique main beaches. Since it is composed of pebble stones, the scenery is picture-perfect, and the clear, azure water is ideal for snorkeling.
Discover Thayaw Thahan Kyi Island and take in the complete peace and quiet of these isolated islands. Take the time to enjoy the sunshine, the wind, and the crisp sea breeze. Spend the night outside in a tent while unwinding.
Day 04: Thayaw Thahan Kyi Island – Moken Village – Myeik (Breakfast/ Lunch)
Start your day early, witnessing a beautiful sunrise and savoring a sumptuous breakfast onboard. Depart from Thayaw Thahan Kyi Island and make your way to Dome Palae Aw village, also known as the Moken village. Here, you can immerse yourself in the Moken community and gain insights into their unique culture and seafaring way of life. The Moken people, also referred to as sea gypsies, have mastered the art of freediving and have lived as hunters and gatherers for generations, traveling through tropical islands on their traditional Kabang boats. During the dry season, some of them even spend their entire lives at sea, seeking refuge on land only during heavy rainfall. After discovering more about the Moken, relish a memorable local meal with the renowned “Sea Gipsy” of the area. Finally, we will sail back to Myeik port, a seaport city with stunning islands. After checking in at the hotel, spend the night in Myeik.
Day 05: Myeik – Yangon Departure (B)
Following a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, you can unwind until you’re transferred to the airport for your journey back to Yangon. Island getaway vacations come to an end with enduring memories.Breakfast included
