Start your day early with a trip to the jetty and board a local wooden boat to cross the Yangon River, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind. After a 40-minute ride, arrive at Kanaungto River Island.

Begin your exploration of the island on a bike and visit the lively local market before heading into the peaceful streets to observe the daily life of the island’s residents. Take a break at a local tea shop and then continue along bumpy roads that wind through paddy fields. Don’t hesitate to ask your guide to engage with the locals or stop for a photo shoot.

Afterwards, cycle back to the jetty and board the wooden boat to return to Yangon.
