Meet up with your guide for a quick introduction before setting off on your bikes towards the vibrant local morning market in Nyaung Shwe. Watch the traders in action as they sell their fresh produce and browse the colorful stalls.
After immersing yourself in the local market scene, indulge in a traditional breakfast that includes the renowned Shan noodles, which will provide the energy boost needed for the upcoming cycling journey to Su Taung Pyae Pagoda. Marvel at the beauty of the pagoda, located in the vicinity of Nyaung Shwe, before continuing along the banks of the lake, taking in the stunning views of the Shan hills and observing the locals’ way of life.
As you cycle further, you will traverse rice fields and country lanes, occasionally pausing to chat with the friendly locals. The next stop will be Mine Thauk village, a picturesque destination located on Inle Lake, famous for its stunning traditional houses built over the water. The village is also home to the iconic Mine Thauk Bridge, a magnificent 500-meter-long teak wood structure that stands out for its distinctive pole construction.
