Day 01: Dawei
The capital of Tanintharyi division, Dawei, was formerly known as Tavoy and is recognized for its long history and colonial-era buildings. Take a walk in the downtown area to admire these picturesque buildings and visit a family-owned cashew nut business to learn about processing methods. Later, drive for 30 minutes to Maung Ma Gan Beach, which is a well-known spot for locals and a perfect location for an authentic experience. Return to Dawei after sunset and spend the night.

Day 02: Dawei Peninsula (B)
Drive past rice fields and rural villages until you reach a typical fishing village where you can observe the process of drying fish and making fish paste (seasonal). Continue to Kyauk Wap Pyin Village, and hike for 30 minutes up the mountain to see the Dawei Peninsula’s Golden Rock Pagoda, which offers a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view. Then, head to Grandfather beach for swimming and relaxation on the pristine sand beach. On the way back to Dawei, stop at a brick factory to learn how bricks are made (seasonal) and try a local alcohol called “Htan Yay” produced from palm trees grown by locals. Spend the night in Dawei.

Day 03: Dawei Peninsula (B)
After breakfast, travel to a hidden beach near Dawei, which is located 1.5 hours from the city center. Spend a full day at the beach, taking in the tropical ambiance, bathing in the warm crystal-clear waters, snorkeling, or simply relaxing. Overnight at Zat Sar Aw Beach.

Day 04: Dawei Departure (B)
Before departing, take a stroll through the busy main market for souvenir shopping and visit the clay pottery village located in the heart of the town on Niban Road. Then, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight back to Yangon.
