  • Day 01: Arrival in Yangon

    Get ready for an exciting adventure as you arrive at Yangon International Airport. Our guide will welcome you and escort you to your hotel before visiting Yangon, a city where pragmatic and generous people reside, and it boasts one of the most complete ensembles of colonial architecture in the world.

    Begin with a captivating colonial walking tour of Yangon, where you’ll encounter a fascinating blend of colonial buildings, churches, mosques, and Buddhist monasteries. The city’s beautiful architecture is a reflection of its diverse religious influences. As part of the tour, you’ll also visit the Karaweik Royal Barge, a magnificent floating royal barge on a serene lake, providing the perfect backdrop for breathtaking photos.

    Prepare to be amazed by the grandeur of the Shwedagon Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the world, standing proudly atop a hill and dating back over 2,600 years. This sacred site, often referred to as the “heart of Myanmar,” holds immense significance in Buddhist culture and is considered one of the most important pilgrimage destinations.   • Day 02: Yangon – Mandalay

    After breakfast, transfer to Yangon Airport for a short flight to Mandalay, which will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon landing, visit Amarapura, a former Royal Capital, where history comes alive.

    Your first stop is the awe-inspiring U Bein Bridge, an impressive teak wood bridge stretching 1.2 kilometers long. Built in 1782 during the time of Amarapura’s reign, this architectural marvel will leave you in awe.

    Next, visit the renowned Mahagandayon Monastery, home to more than a thousand monks who live and study there. If the timing is right, you can witness a silent spectacle as the monks partake in their last meal of the day. Following this, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a traditional hand-woven silk workshop, immersing yourself in the artistry and craftsmanship of Mandalay.

    Continuing your journey into Mandalay city, head to your hotel to freshen up. Later, you’ll have the chance to visit the exquisite Shwenandaw Monastery, renowned for its intricate wooden structures.

    Your exploration will then lead to the remnants of the Mandalay Royal Palace, the last original wooden structures of the once-majestic palace complex. Finally, tour the great Kuthodaw Pagoda, also known as MahaLawkamarazein Pagoda, famous for being the world’s largest book.   • Day 03: Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay (B)

    Your next destination is the revered Mahamuni Pagoda, home to one of Myanmar’s most cherished religious images. Learn the fascinating story behind this statue while observing devotees delicately applying gold leaf to the sacred figure.

    In the afternoon, transfer to the jetty for a serene boat journey to Mingun. Adjacent to it, you’ll find the Mingun Bell, one of the world’s largest hanging bronze bells, exuding an air of ancient mystique.

  • Day 04: Mandalay – Bagan by local day boat (B)

    Prepare for an exciting day as you embark on a local day boat journey along the Ayeyarwady River, heading from Mandalay to Bagan. Indulge in a delightful breakfast and savor a delicious lunch onboard as you marvel at the scenic landscapes.

    The journey will include a stop at Yandabo village, an opportunity for an excursion and a glimpse into the local life of Myanmar. Notably, this village is where the historic Treaty of Yandabo, which ended the First Anglo-Burmese War, was signed in 1826.

    Arriving at Bagan Jetty in the evening around 6:00 PM, transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax and unwind, ready to explore the wonders of Bagan the next day.

  • Day 05: Bagan (B)

    After breakfast, immerse yourself in the colorful and vibrant atmosphere of Nyaung-U, a local market that offers a unique glimpse into the daily lives of Myanmar’s people.

    Prepare for an awe-inspiring temple exploration as we visit some of the most significant temples and pagodas in Bagan. Marvel at the architectural masterpiece of the Temple of Ananda, showcasing the brilliance of 11th-century Mon architecture. Next, explore the Htilominlo temple, renowned for its exquisite stucco work.

    Continuing your journey, visit the monumental Dhammayangyi Temple, a pyramid-shaped structure that will leave you in awe of Bagan’s rich cultural heritage. As the daytime temperature rises, retreat to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing swim in the pool, savoring the tranquil ambiance.

    Later in the afternoon, hop aboard a traditional horse carriage and embark on a captivating ride through the ancient ruins of Bagan’s temples.

  • Day 07: Bagan – Heho – Pindaya – Kalaw (B)

    After breakfast, transfer to Nyaung U Airport for a short flight to Heho, taking approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival, drive to Pindaya to explore the magnificent Pindaya Caves. These caves, nestled in a limestone ridge overlooking a picturesque lake, house thousands of unique Buddha images, providing a captivating sight to behold.

    Continuing your journey, visit local houses where Shan paper and umbrellas are skillfully produced. Immerse yourself in the artistry and craftsmanship of these traditional crafts.

    Afterward, enjoy a delightful lunch before driving to Kalaw, a charming hill town located on the pine-clad hills of the Shan Plateau, offering a perfect setting for trekking adventures.

  • Day 08: Kalaw – Nanawe – Konehla – PattuPauk (B, L, D)

    Head off to an exciting morning drive to the drop-off point near Lamine village, which will take approximately 30 minutes.

    From there, begin your trek by walking for around 15 minutes to Lamine village, where the ToungYoe people reside. Immerse yourself in the local culture and traditions before proceeding to Nanawe village, inhabited by the Danu people. The trek from Lamine to Nanawe will take approximately 1 hour and treat you to picturesque landscapes.

    Pass through a charming Pa-O village as you continue your trek towards Konehla, where you’ll take a break for a well-deserved lunch. While enjoying your meal, take in the breathtaking views of the valleys and mountains in the background.

    After lunch, continue your trek for around 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach PattuPauk village, home to the hospitable Pa-O people. Experience the warm hospitality of the locals as you spend the night in a local homestay, immersing yourself in their culture and way of life.

  • Day 09: PattuPauk – HtiThein – Tonele – Inle Lake (B, L)

    After breakfast, bid farewell to PattuPauk village and embark on a scenic 30-minute journey to HtiThein. From there, continue your trek to Kyauk Su village, enjoying a leisurely walk lasting approximately 45 minutes. Then, proceed to Nan Yoke village, immersing yourself in the picturesque surroundings during another 45-minute walk.

    Next, continue the trek to Tonele village, inhabited by the Inntha people, located near the tranquil Inle Lake. Indulge in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and soak in the serene atmosphere.

    In the afternoon, head to the jetty and board a traditional long canoe boat, which will transfer you to your hotel, providing a unique perspective of the beautiful Inle Lake.

  • Day 10: Inle Lake (B)

    After breakfast, take a captivating boat ride across the pristine waters of Inle Lake.     Continue your exploration with a visit to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the main sanctuary of the lake, housing five sacred images of Buddha adorned with exquisite gold leaf. En route, stop at the weaving village of Inpawkhone, where you can witness the intricate art of traditional hand-weaving, and visit a cheroot factory to learn about the fascinating process of crafting Burmese cigars.

    In the morning, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Yangon.

    Upon arrival in Yangon, begin a captivating journey of exploration, starting with a visit to the Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, home to a colossal Reclining Buddha image that leaves visitors in awe of its grandeur.

    In the afternoon, delve into the vibrant atmosphere of the Bogyoke Market, also known as Scotts Market.
