    3. Windbreaker: A lightweight, windproof jacket or windbreaker is useful to protect against gusty winds and sudden weather changes.
    4. Trekking shorts & pants: Pack lightweight and quick-drying trekking shorts and pants for flexibility and comfort during the trek.
    5. Trekking t-shirt or shirt: Choose moisture-wicking and breathable fabrics for your t-shirts or shirts to keep you cool and comfortable during the trek.
    6. Gloves: Depending on the weather and altitude, consider bringing gloves to protect your hands from cold temperatures or rough terrains.

Travel itinerary

  • Day 01: Hsipaw – Pankam – Manhunwet (L, D)

    Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel before beginning on a gentle hike lasting approximately an hour. Enjoy the scenic views of fields and countryside landscapes as you make your way towards a picturesque Shan village. Traverse tea plantations until you reach Manhunwet, a charming Palaung village that serves as today’s destination. Take the opportunity to explore the village and engage with the friendly locals.

    Spend the night at a local homestay in the village.

  • Day 02: Manhunwet – Hsipaw (B)

    Start your day with a satisfying breakfast before commencing the second leg of the trek. This section is mostly downhill and relatively easier compared to the first day.

    Follow the trail downwards for several hours, passing by tea plantations. Along the way, take breaks to appreciate the breathtaking mountains and surrounding forests.

    Return to your hotel in Hsipaw at the end of the trek.
