Travel itinerary

  • Day 1

    Kick off your adventure at the mesmerizing Maing Thauk Bridge, bright and early at 8:30 AM. As you make your way towards Lwelem village, prepare to be captivated by the breathtaking scenery and enchanting views of Inle Lake. You’ll also visit the revered Tawya monastery, immersing yourself in its serene atmosphere. Within the monastery, you can observe the daily routines and practices of the resident monks, gaining insight into their way of life and the principles of Buddhism.

    Next, it’s time for a mouthwatering treat! You’ll indulge in a delicious lunch featuring Pa-O traditional cuisine, lovingly prepared in a local house at Lwelem village. It’s an opportunity to savor the authentic flavors of the region.

    After your satisfying meal, the journey continues to Inn Ne, a village embraced by the community-based tourism (CBT) project. Here, you’ll spend the night in a cozy community lodge. As the sun sets, get ready to witness a mesmerizing display of traditional dances and music performed by the villagers themselves. Spend the night in the comfort of the community lodge.

  • Day 2

    After breakfast, roll up your sleeves and join the villagers in re-planting activities around the CBT village. It’s a chance to connect with the local community and make a positive impact. As you bid farewell to your newfound friends in Inn Ne, your adventure continues towards Tha Pyay Kone village.

    Prepare to be amazed as you journey through tea plantations, pass by thriving avocado trees, and catch sight of vibrant orange plantations along the way, painting a breathtaking tapestry of colors and flavors. Your next stop is Naunglay, where a delightful lunch awaits.

    As you continue with the journey, you’ll visit a bamboo basket-making workshop to witness the skill and artistry behind this traditional craft. When you head back to Konechan, keep an eye out for a colorful vegetable garden and orchard, adding a splash of vivid hues to your journey.

    Finally, make your way to Thale Oo (Alemyaung) village boat jetty, renowned for its captivating bird sanctuary. Your adventure concludes with a scenic boat ride back to your hotel, leaving you with lasting memories of this meaningful tour.
